Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
